What will I be doing?

As the Executive Chef, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Leadership and Supervision: Providing strategic direction to the culinary and stewarding teams, ensuring efficient kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.
  2. Culinary Skills: Demonstrating exceptional culinary expertise, developing menus, overseeing dish presentation, sourcing ingredients, and resolving kitchen issues promptly.
  3. Financial Management: Managing the kitchen budget, controlling costs, analyzing financial data, and making informed decisions on menu pricing and sourcing.

What are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A college degree in hotel/restaurant management, culinary arts, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef in prestigious 5-star luxury hotels, with a focus on culinary excellence.
  • Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in Michelin-starred restaurants is valued.
  • Extensive background managing diverse culinary and F&B outlets, preferably in large, multicultural environments.
  • A passionate, energetic culinary leader dedicated to team development and food quality.
  • A keen eye for detail, creativity, and innovative thinking.
  • Ability to enhance menu profitability and contribute to budget discussions.
  • Certification in Food Safety and sanitation standards.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
