Hartalega in Malaysia seeks a Business Intelligence professional to drive BI information delivery across the organization. You will develop and implement data warehouses, ensure data integrity, and optimize ETL processes while designing user-friendly reporting interfaces.

You will maintain data analytics platforms, model data, and translate business needs into technical specifications. Strong SQL, SSRS/SSIS and Power BI familiarity are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in computer engineering, computer science or its equivalent in related IT field.
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data mining.
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
• Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI).
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

• Monitor and tune queries and data loads addressing data integrity and performance issues.
• Translate business needs to technical specifications to deploy data warehouses.
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions and end-user interfaces for reporting.
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. Micro Strategy).
• Develop data architecture, data modelling and mapping within a structured data warehouse environment.
• Facilitate requirements gathering and develop simple solutions to meet business needs.

• Responsible for the successful delivery of business intelligence information to the entire organization and is experienced in BI development and implementations, data architecture and data warehousing.
• Responsible for monitoring and tuning queries and data loads addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues.
• Manage and fulfil management's expectations & requirements to support business growth and objectives.
• Translate business needs to technical specifications by plan, create coordinate, and deploy data warehouses.
• Design, build and deploy Bl solutions (e.g. reporting tools) and design end user interface.
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. Micro Strategy).
• Develop data architecture, data modelling, and mapping solutions within structured data warehouse environment.
• Facilitate requirements gathering using expert listening skills and develop unique simple solutions to meet the immediate and long-term needs of business customers.
• Develop reporting applications and data warehouse consistency.
• Support the development and validation required through the lifecycle of the Business Intelligence systems maintain user connectivity, and provide adequate security for data warehouse.
• Monitor the Bl systems performance and integrity provide corrective and preventative maintenance as required.
