Executive Business Development (Investment)
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conducting market research to identify potential properties for acquisition, analysing market trends, demand-supply dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
- Property Identification: Identifying and evaluating potential project/proposal for acquisition, conducting site visits, and assessing suitability based on factors such as location, zoning regulations, market demand, and investment potential.
- Due Diligence: Assisting in the due diligence process for potential property acquisitions, including financial analysis, legal review, planning requirements, land matters, environmental assessments, and other relevant investigations to assess risks and opportunities.
- Financial Analysis: Assisting in financial analysis of potential acquisitions, including investment pro forma, cash flow projections, return on investment (ROI) analysis, and sensitivity analysis to evaluate financial viability and profitability.
- Deal Sourcing: Sourcing off-market acquisition opportunities through networking, relationship building, and collaboration with brokers, property owners, developers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Negotiation: Supporting negotiation efforts for purchase agreements, sale contracts, and other legal documents related to property acquisitions and development, ensuring favourable terms and conditions while mitigating risks.
- Transaction Management: Assisting in managing the acquisition process from initial negotiations to closing, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Assisting in the preparation and review of transaction-related documents, including purchase agreements, due diligence reports, and closing documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with industry stakeholders, including property owners, developers, brokers, and consultants, to source acquisition opportunities and facilitate transactional activities.
- Feasibility Analysis: Assisting in feasibility studies and investment analysis for potential acquisitions, evaluating factors such as market demand, development potential, regulatory requirements, and financial feasibility.
- Risk Assessment: Assisting in identifying and evaluating risks associated with potential acquisitions, including market risks, regulatory risks, financial risks, and operational risks, and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, and investment memoranda for senior management and investment committees, summarizing acquisition opportunities and financial analysis for decision-making.
