Job description

JOB SUMMARY

As a Business Analyst, the role is essential for bridging stakeholders and the development team, ensuring user needs are met through effective communication and strategic planning.

Responsibilities include leading the understanding of KWSP, overseeing Agile Scrum duties, gathering and analyzing product requirements, and overseeing the Development Team, Digital Testing Team, Scrum Team, and Subject Matter Experts. The Business Analyst also leads the preparation of requirement documentation for digital products and utilizes Agile Methodology to strategize and fulfill tasks.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead user story development sessions and Agile initiatives, including product discovery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and understand user requirements and functionalities across EPF’s digital channels, including mobile apps and web portals.
• Strategize with the Product Owner to prioritize the product backlog based on stakeholder input and feedback.
• Serve as the Test Lead for the Digital Testing Team to ensure compliance with established requirements, facilitating Agile ceremonies to promote productive discussions and team engagement.
• Lead and participate in Agile activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
• Guide the Scrum team in defining requirements and developing clear acceptance criteria

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Malaysian citizen.
• Passed the Malaysian Language (including passing the Oral Test) at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia level or a qualification recognized as equivalent by the government.
• A Bachelor's degree with honors in Computer Science or a recognized equivalent qualification in a related field approved by the government.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner/Business Analyst, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies.
• Experience in projects involving digital channels.
• Additional qualifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), or related agile methodologies.
• In-depth understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience working with Scrum teams in digital product development.
• Experience in identifying user requirements, managing the product backlog, and translating business requirements into clear, actionable technical user stories.
