Job Purpose
Responsible for driving event sales, coordinating with operations teams to ensure successful event execution, and maximizing revenue opportunities through strategic client engagement and business development. The role also involves managing events from inquiry to completion, ensuring high customer satisfaction and service standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all conventions, meetings, banquets, and events to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and confirmations in line with revenue targets and booking procedures.
Build and maintain strong client relationships with corporate clients, key accounts, and members to grow business opportunities. - Plan and execute sales strategies, including site inspections, client meetings, and follow-ups on leads, referrals, and cold calls.
- Coordinate with Marcom for campaign execution to support customer acquisition and engagement.
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer preferences to support strategic pricing and product alignment. - Represent the Company at industry events, exhibitions, and bridal fairs as required.
Ensure timely follow-up on forecasts, billing aging, and feedback collection to improve services and prevent revenue loss. - Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve operational challenges related to events.
Maintain accurate records and reporting of sales performance, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in event or banquet sales, with a strong track record in revenue generation, high-profile event management, and client retention, preferably within the hospitality or luxury segment.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze market trends, develop strategic sales plans, and convert opportunities into profitable outcomes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, adept at building long-term relationships with corporate clients, members, and key partners through persuasive communication and service excellence.
- Operational leadership capability, able to coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional teams (F&B, Marcom, Finance, Operations) to ensure flawless execution of events from inquiry to post-event evaluation.
- Proficient in sales systems and tools, including CRM platforms, proposal and forecasting software, and Microsoft Office Suite; data-driven and results-oriented.
- Flexible, driven, and presentable, with the ability to represent the organization confidently at external engagements, and to work beyond regular hours as required by event schedules.
