A leading company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a highly organized, bilingual Executive Assistant to support the Director. The role involves coordination with Japanese stakeholders, managing appointments, and offering translation and interpretation services. We are seeking ahighly organized, proactive, and bilingual Executive Assistantto provide full-spectrum administrative and strategic support to our Director. This role requires frequent communication with our Japanese partners, investors, and team members — both written and verbal. Ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and culturally fluent in bothJapanese and Malaysian/English work environments.

Opportunity to work directly with the founder/CEO on strategic projects
Exposure to regional business expansion in Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore and Japan
Manage Director’s calendar, meetings, travel bookings, and appointments
Prepare agenda, presentations, and take minutes for internal and external meetings
Handle confidential information and support daily decision-making with timely reminders and briefs
Serve as key liaison between Director and Japanese stakeholders, partners, or clients
Translate business documents, emails, and reports (Japanese–English and vice versa)
Provide live interpretation support during business meetings (online & offline)
Coordinate with internal departments (HR, Finance, Sales, etc.) on Director’s initiatives
Track project timelines, assist with follow-ups, and prepare reports or dashboards
Conduct research and compile information needed for strategic decision-making
Help prepare for investor meetings, product launches, and company events
Assist with personal matters of the Director if required (occasionally)
Requirements
JLPTN2/N1(Business Japanese) or native-level Japanese
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (Background in Business/Admin/Marketing)
3+ years of experience in EA/PA role
Strong time management, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Notion, or ERP tools.
