A leading company in the integrated resort sector is seeking an Accounting Executive to assist with daily transactions and financial documentation. The successful candidate will perform tasks such as verifying invoices, managing payments, and ensuring financial compliance. Prospective applicants must have a relevant bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good command of both Bahasa Malaysia and English are essential.

Responsible in assisting executive on day-to-day transactions in effective and efficient ways as well as to ensure documents properly kept or file in cloud.
EA duties include ensuring accuracy & efficiency of operations, processing & monitoring incoming/outgoing payment, and securing revenue by verifying receipts or expenditure by verifying invoices match with purchase order (PO) & delivery order (DO).
Preparing full set account for dormant company.
Accountabilities
Operations
Perform day to day transaction including verifying, classifying and recording account payable documents such as PO, DO, invoices, and memo approval.
Process outgoing payment in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Invoice issuance, monitoring account receivable aging and follow up payment from customers.
Prepare statement of account for operations and customers.
Performing vendor registration and extension requested by procurement teams.
Prepare budget for dormant company.
Handle filing, records keeping and assuring the accuracy of documents filing.
Assist executive in year-end closing and audit schedule.
To perform other ad-hoc finance related duties assigned by immediate executive from time to time.
Perform bank reconciliation via FEBA in SAP every month.
Reconciliation of balance sheet item
Validate actual payment made for project final account that has been verified by contract management team.
Treasury
Perform weekly bank reconciliation.
Prepare uplift & placement short term money market deposit (STMMD) letter and obtain approval from authorisers.
Prepare fund transfer requested by subsidiaries (for DH1_HQ & DDC).
Manage RCF and prepare fund request form for dormant company.
Prepare and update STMMD tracking file.
Tax
Prepare WHT calculation & obtain verification from tax department prior to payment process.
To work with tax team for annual tax compliance submission for dormant company.
Prepare 9th month tax estimate for dormant company.
Reporting
Prepare weekly cash report update to Group Treasury
To execute any other job requirements as assigned by the Superior.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Business Studies /ACCA Certified
Professional Experience
At least 2 years working experience in the similar capacity.
Understanding of the latest Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards.
Good command of written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English
Able to maintain high level of personal integrity and confidentiality
Strong organizational and analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to details
A Self-starter as well as team player
Pleasant personality
Adaptable to change and work under busy operations.
