We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support our REIT business by maintaining accurate accounting records and ensuring timely financial and regulatory reporting. You will play a key part in the day-to-day finance operations and work closely with internal stakeholders and external parties.
Key Responsibilities:
Cash Management: Prepare and monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity and efficient fund utilization.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and prepare journal vouchers.
Process invoice entries for payment.
Prepare monthly management accounts.
Financial Reporting and Presentations:
Prepare slides for Strategy Management Meetings and Quarterly Strategy Business Meetings.
Assist in drafting Bursa announcements and Board presentation slides.
Tax & Compliance Support:
Assist in tax computations and filings.
Ensure timely quarterly submissions to the Securities Commission.
Support the preparation of budgets.
Prepare draft accounts for entity assigned.
Manage communication and coordination with trustee and other relevant parties.
Handle operational tasks and other finance-related assignments as required.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting (REIT or property industry experience is a plus).
Strong attention to detail, with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software and TAPP (plus).
Responsible and able to work independently to meet reporting deadlines.
Good interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and external parties.
