•Monitor project costs against budgets, report discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
•Monitor daily cash flow and ensure funds are allocated efficiently to meet operational needs.
•Manage and track payments from clients and to suppliers, ensuring timely processing of invoices.
•Identify opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency within the finance department and across development projects.
•Handle daily customer inquiries—both walk-in and by phone—regarding cheques, billing, or project status.
•Collaborate with project teams to track expenses and manage project cash flow.
•Ensure financial operations comply with local regulations and accounting standards.
•Maintain accurate and organized financial records for all development projects.
•Implement and monitor cost control systems for property development projects.
•Record staff claims and prepare petty cash reimbursements.
•Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
•Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
•Perform any additional duties assigned by management or supervisors as required.
The Incumbent:
•Possess at least bachelor Degree in Accounting or a related field such as Finance, or Economics.
•Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role, preferably within the real estate or property development industry.
•Capable of managing heavy workloads and maintaining high performance under pressure.
•Complies with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
•Exhibits a high level of flexibility, initiative, and readiness to handle a broad range of responsibilities.
•Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, along with effective negotiation abilities.
•Demonstrates excellent time management and analytical skills.
