Role Overview

The job holder is responsible for:

  • Managing and supporting the daily operations of Account Receivables and Wholesale Administration to ensure efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Handle account receivable and cash management tasks for Malaysia and other markets, ensuring timely processing and updating of payments, including direct debit receivables.
  • Manage timely receipt of miscellaneous items, manual payments, and receipt reversals; coordinate with business units to resolve unidentified receipts within turnaround times.
  • Process refunds for overpayments promptly, contacting customers and collaborating with relevant units to ensure timely execution.
  • Support bank reconciliation activities, ensuring all transactions and open items are closed within deadlines.
  • Manage Wholesale administration processes, including floorplan activation, collections, vehicle releases, and settlements, following established procedures.
  • Ensure scheduled Wholesale Inventory Audits are performed.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives to improve retail, wholesale, and corporate processes, including system enhancements and risk mitigation.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers, dealers, and colleagues, ensuring professional communication.
  • Engage in self-development and contribute to a collaborative, learning, and speak-up culture.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of dealer wholesale funding or account receivables experience; experience in finance and banking environments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Hire Purchase Act and Wholesale Administrative processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; inventory finance knowledge is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

  • Self-motivated, independent, and capable of performing under pressure.
