About the role

As an Excavator Operator (Construction) at WSG Properties Sdn Bhd, you will play a vital role in the successful execution of construction projects in the Papar District of Sabah. This full-time position involves operating heavy machinery with precision and expertise to support the company's construction activities.

What you'll be doing

• Operating excavators and other construction equipment to efficiently carry out site preparation, earth moving, and other essential construction tasks
• Maintaining a high level of safety and care when operating machinery to protect both yourself and those around you
• Performing routine checks and maintenance on the excavator to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the equipment
• Collaborating closely with the construction team to understand project requirements and execute your work accordingly
• Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and company policies at all times

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an excavator operator in the construction industry, preferably with 2+ years of hands-on experience
• Strong technical skills and the ability to operate excavators and other heavy machinery proficiently and safely
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to work with precision to meet project requirements
• Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the construction crew
