Job summary

MITIME CONSTRUCTION MALAYSIA SDN BHD in Kimanis, Sabah invites applications for an experienced Excavator Operator to support excavation, trenching and earthworks on our project site. The role requires operating excavators safely and efficiently while adhering to project specifications and safety standards.

You will operate both wheeled and crawler excavators, perform daily inspections, follow site safety rules, and participate in shift rotations.

Qualifications

• Certified excavator operator with proven experience on construction sites.
• Ability to operate wheeled and crawler excavators is an added advantage.
• Willing to work shift rotations and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators safely to perform excavation, trenching and earthmoving.
• Follow site supervisors' instructions and safety rules.
• Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance checks on excavator equipment.
• Load, unload and move construction materials as required.
• Support general construction and groundwork activities at the site.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and certified Excavator Operator to join our team in Kimanis, Sabah. In this role, you will be responsible for operating excavators safely and efficiently to support excavation, trenching, and general earthworks activities at the project site. This position is critical in ensuring site works are carried out in accordance with safety regulations, project specifications, and operational standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

Operate excavators safely and efficiently to perform excavation, trenching, and earthmoving；

Follow instructions from site supervisors and comply with all site safety rules and procedures；

Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance checks on excavator machinery；

Load, unload, and move construction materials as required；

Support general construction and groundwork activities at the project site.

What We’re Looking For

Able to operate both wheeled and crawler excavators is an added advantage;

Able to work long hours under outdoor site conditions;

CIDB Green Card is required;

Possess valid excavator operator license and/or competency certification (CIDB or recognized training institution preferred);

Responsible, disciplined, and a strong team player;

Willing to work on a shift rotation basis;

NTSP certification is mandatory (required for substation access);

Prior experience in site works or substation-related projects is an advantage.
