Team Leadership: Supervise technical staff, assign tasks, and ensure the team meets event requirements efficiently.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Liaise with suppliers, technicians, and event planners to secure services, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment on technical needs.
Troubleshooting & Risk Management: Identify and resolve technical challenges before and during events to prevent disruptions.
Compliance & Safety Oversight: Ensure all technical setups adhere to safety regulations and venue requirements.
Equipment & Budget Management: Maintain inventory, oversee maintenance, recommend upgrades, and manage technical budgets effectively.
Event Collaboration: Work closely with production teams and venue staff to integrate technical aspects into the overall event plan.
Post-Event Evaluation: Assess technical performance, maintain records, and implement improvements for future events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Event Management, AV Technology, Broadcast Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience in event technical coordination, AV systems, and production equipment.
Leadership experience in managing technical teams and event logistics.
Certifications in sound engineering, lighting design, or AV operations are a plus.
Strong problem-solving abilities, able to work under pressure.
Deep understanding of health and safety regulations related to event setups.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in industry-related software and equipment handling.
