A leading hotel management company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Event Planning Manager to ensure efficient department operation and maximize event-related revenue. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Only Malaysian citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
Summary
You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards, while meeting associate, guest, and owner expectations. The Event Planning Manager is responsible for acting as an event planning specialist and ensuring that related revenue is maximized profitably in line with the agreed targets.
Qualifications
- Ideally hold a degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
- Minimum of 2 years' work experience as an Event Planning Executive or in a similar role within a larger operation.
- Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Due to Malaysian government work permit restrictions, only Malaysian citizens or Permanent Residents of Malaysia will be considered.
