Job summary

SOFTPILLOW MOLLYCODDLE & CO SDN. BHD. is seeking a creative Graphic Designer to shape visual concepts for events, from brainstorming to final execution.

You will translate client visions into compelling visuals, develop mood boards, and collaborate with the team to deliver on-brand experiences. The role requires 3+ years of design experience, a strong portfolio, and expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, print production, and large-format design.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of graphic design experience, preferably in events or experiential marketing.
• Strong portfolio showing concept development and mood boards.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in print production and large-format design.
• Ability to research trends and translate ideas into visuals.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Bonus: UI/UX, 3D rendering, or video editing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead creative brainstorming sessions to generate innovative design concepts for events
• Conduct visual research on industry trends, competitor events, and thematic inspiration
• Develop mood boards, style guides, and presentation decks to pitch ideas to clients and internal teams
• Collaborate with the events team to align designs with client objectives, audience demographics, and event themes
• Design print & digital collateral (invitations, brochures, social media assets, email campaigns, digital ads)
• Produce environmental graphics (signage, stage backdrops, wayfinding, exhibition booths)
• Manage multiple projects from concept to delivery, meeting tight deadlines
• Present and justify design choices to clients and stakeholders
• Adapt designs based on feedback while maintaining creative integrity
