Job summary

Yen Creative in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Exhibition Installer to join our events team. You will install and dismantle booths, set up panels, signage, furniture, lighting and other event materials, ensuring installations meet the required design and specifications.

Experience in event, exhibition, renovation or carpentry is an advantage; basic tool knowledge; ability to read simple drawings; physically fit and able to travel to venues.

Qualifications

• Experience in event, exhibition, renovation or carpentry is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of installation and hand tools.
• Able to read simple drawings or installation plans.
• Physically fit and comfortable with site work.
• Willing to travel to different event and exhibition venues.
• Able to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Responsible, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install and dismantle exhibition booths, event structures and displays.
• Set up panels, signage, furniture, lighting and other event materials.
• Perform basic carpentry, drilling, fixing and assembly work.
• Ensure installations meet design and specifications.
• Assist with loading, unloading and transporting event materials.
• Inspect completed installations and adjust as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas.
• Support the team during event setup and dismantling.
