Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled automotive technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of vehicles in line with manufacturer standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include inspecting mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults; handling high-voltage (HV) battery removal, replacement, and testing; and ensuring timely, quality service before delivery to customers. Training and career development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Automotive / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in automotive repair; EV systems experience is an added advantage.
• Possess diagnostic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Physically fit and able to adhere to safety standards.
• Willing to attend training and continuously improve technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair vehicle in accordance with manufacturer standards and safety procedures.
• Inspect, identify, and rectify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
• Carry out high-voltage (HV) battery removal, replacement, and testing as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Ensure all service and repair works are completed within the stipulated time and meet quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols when handling HV systems and tools.
• Accurately record all repairs, findings, and parts used in the job card system.
• Assist in vehicle final quality checks before delivery to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
