Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the country Ethics, Integrity, and Compliance of business operations to ensure alignment with legal requirements, global Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and policies.
- Act as an Independent Investigator to ensure Business Units handle complaints/claims related to professional and quality compliance, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures to prevent re-occurrence.
- Support Business Units to ensure the integrity of services in compliance with the Company’s standards and policies.
- Serve as the country focal person for internal audits and coordinate with the Global Technical Governance / Cross Business Technical Governance Audit at all locations, providing guidance and training to Business Unit teams.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with applicable licenses, permits, and legal requirements for business continuity.
- Address audit findings by working closely with respective Business Units to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions, including training programs and follow-up.
- Assist Business Units in ensuring operational procedures adhere to ethical standards, including operation readiness and project implementation.
- Collaborate with Health and Safety and Human Resources teams to communicate compliance programs at operational locations.
- Conduct regular independent audits to monitor compliance with integrity standards based on risk assessments.
- Monitor the implementation of SGS Group Policies and Procedures for compliance at all organizational levels.
- Uphold SGS Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies by promoting safety behaviors and standard practices to ensure HSE compliance.
- Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by your reporting manager or Senior Management.

Qualifications
Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Business Finance, or related fields with internal audit experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in compliance audit activities, preferably with HR/IR experience.
- Experience dealing with diverse businesses and managing various stakeholder levels in an MNC environment.
- Familiarity with Employment Act updates, ISO9001, OHSAS18001, or relevant standards.
- Operational experience in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with accounting systems is an added advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
- Based in Shah Alam, Selangor, and willing to travel nationwide frequently.
