As a Cost Calculator at IQIP, you ensure the accuracy of cost estimates for manufacturing, project execution, and equipment development across the Offshore Wind, Coastal & Civil, Oil & Gas, and Decommissioning markets. You provide critical financial input for project planning, tenders, and strategic decisions, contributing to efficient, cost-effective operations.

Responsibility:

Analyse engineering drawings, project scopes, and technical requirements to prepare cost estimates

Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to collect cost data

Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for accurate price inputs

Monitor and update cost databases with current material, labour, and equipment costs

Prepare tender cost breakdowns and support bid proposals

Identify potential cost risks and provide mitigation suggestions

Support project managers with budget evaluations during execution

Qualification:

Technical degree in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or control engineering

Minimum three years of experience in technical support or service, preferably in offshore or heavy equipment industries

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure

Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills

Willingness to work in shifts and be on-call for international time zones

Fluency in English in verbal communication and written

Willing to travel occasionally to support urgent offshore interventions

Remuneration package will be based on experience
