ERP Functional Consultant (Product)

Job Description:

People Profilers is hiring on behalf of a leading global consulting firm for an experienced ERP Functional Consultant (Product) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the workstream's Subject Matter Expert (SME) and promote best practices.
• Identify gaps in existing processes, establish new processes, and ensure regional process consistency.
• Provide innovative technological and business solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist in completing work packages timely and report progress to the regional deployment lead, including:
• Documentation and design of business processes
• Specification of user needs
• Preparation of position papers and evaluation of solutions
• Presentations in workshops or committees
• Development and execution of test cases
• Training documentation and implementation
• Transition planning
• Adhere to project design guidelines, control scope, and promote standard functionalities and best practices.
• Maintain high-quality work products and deliverables.
• Drive innovation and question existing processes.
• Participate actively in technology implementation, staying updated on industry trends.
• Report delays or issues promptly.
• Identify problems, analyze impacts, and suggest solutions.
• Coordinate with business and user communities, stakeholders, and support change management efforts.
• Collaborate with partners across workstreams and functions.
• Work closely with the client to ensure successful project delivery, handover, and closure.
• Escalate problems to management as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related fields.
• ERP certification (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) preferred.
• Minimum of seven years of ERP implementation and support project management experience, including end-user training.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially SAP Finance modules in manufacturing, with understanding of integrations.
• Strong SAP functional skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment with excellent communication skills.
• Independent, proactive, analytical, and customer-focused.
• Capable of working under pressure and managing priorities.
