Qualifications

• Preferably a degree in Investment, Accountancy, Business Economics, or Finance.
• CFA/MBA would be an added advantage.

Key Accountabilities

• Research
• Conduct in-depth research on the designated country/ sectors/ companies which incorporates regular company visits, financial analysis/ forecasting, incorporation of ESG considerations, and the production of research reports
• Participate actively in the portfolio investment process and will be responsible for making stock recommendations to the fund managers.
• Other investment related duties would include the preparation of the equity meetings, minute taker of equity meeting, monitor corporate actions, ensure timely administration of proxy votes, and other administrative duties.
• Supporting function
• Assist Head of Research in all investment-related matters.
• Consistently support the members of Investment team.
  
  
  

Experience / Qualifications

• Qualifications
• Preferably a degree in related areas (i.e. Investment, Accountancy, Business Economics, Finance, etc.).
• CFA/ MBA would be an added advantage.
• Experience
• Relevant experience preferred, with 3-5 years in investment analysis/ research.
• Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
• Highly self-motivated and an effective team player.
• Ability to work independently under general supervision.
• Working knowledge of portfolio management.
• Knowledge of respective regulatory requirements.
• Good written and spoken skills in English; fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin languages is an added advantage.
