Key Accountabilities
- Research
- Conduct in-depth research on the designated country/ sectors/ companies which incorporates regular company visits, financial analysis/ forecasting, incorporation of ESG considerations, and the production of research reports
- Participate actively in the portfolio investment process and will be responsible for making stock recommendations to the fund managers.
- Other investment related duties would include the preparation of the equity meetings, minute taker of equity meeting, monitor corporate actions, ensure timely administration of proxy votes, and other administrative duties.
- Supporting function
- Assist Head of Research in all investment-related matters.
- Consistently support the members of Investment team.
Experience / Qualifications
- Qualifications
- Preferably a degree in related areas (i.e. Investment, Accountancy, Business Economics, Finance, etc.).
- CFA/ MBA would be an added advantage.
- Experience
- Relevant experience preferred, with 3-5 years in investment analysis/ research.
- Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
- Highly self-motivated and an effective team player.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision.
- Working knowledge of portfolio management.
- Knowledge of respective regulatory requirements.
- Good written and spoken skills in English; fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin languages is an added advantage.
