Equities Investment Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Analysis: Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis on a variety of instruments including equities, bonds, mutual funds, commodities etc.
• AI: Utilise AI models to deliver results in investments. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technology for equities trading.
• Data Collection: Gather financial data from various sources such as Bloomberg, FactSet, company reports, and other databases.
• Equity Analysis: Shortlist, track and analyse global equities on an active basis.
• Summary Reporting: Prepare short investment reports with results and recommendations on a weekly basis.
• Performance Monitoring: Track the performance of portfolio holdings and benchmark indices. Assist in preparing periodic performance reports.
• Market Updates: Keep abreast of market news, trends and updates which might impact the portfolio or present new investment opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
• Equities Analysis skills / experience. Good understanding of Intrinsic Value, P&L statements, Balance sheet analysis etc.
• Knowledge and skill in using AI tools for equities trading.
• Ideally +2 years of experience in equities trading / asset management.
• Knowledge of financial databases like Bloomberg, FactSet, or Morningstar is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and proactive attitude.
