Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an Equipment Technician in Malaysia to join our flooring solutions team. This role includes hands-on training to grow technical skills in flooring machinery.

You will repair and maintain flooring machines, perform on-site repairs, and demonstrate proper machine usage to customers. Local travel and a supportive, collaborative work environment are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or technical diploma in a related field.
• Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge is a plus (training provided).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Customer-oriented with good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel locally for on-site assignments.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintenance of flooring machines.
• Conduct on-site repairs as required.
• Demonstrate and provide training to customers on proper machine usage.
• Ensure timely servicing and troubleshooting of equipment.
