About the role

This is a full-time Equipment Technician role within the Electrical/Electronic Engineering department at Yunyi Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, based in Butterworth, Penang. You will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for the company's mission-critical electrical and electronic equipment and systems.

What you'll be doing

1. Daily maintenance: Responsible for the daily inspection of equipment, maintenance, and inspection of basic faults to ensure the normal operation of equipment.
2. Troubleshooting: Independently handle equipment anomalies, record failures, analyze improvements, or contact manufacturer support to implement maintenance schemes.
3. Spare Parts: Check the inventory of spare parts regularly to keep records updated and ensure that critical spare parts are replaced in a timely manner.
4. Documentation Preparation: Make daily inspection sheets for equipment, create equipment operating instructions according to operational requirements, and develop maintenance operating instructions as needed.
