Job summary

ResMed in Malaysia is seeking an Equipment Specialist to drive manufacturing, assembly, and packing to meet quality and operational standards.

You will program, set up, and monitor production equipment, perform quality checks, and ensure safety and GMP compliance while supporting continuous improvement. This role requires hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and teamwork across internal groups, with focus on accuracy and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or equivalent experience in manufacturing or production.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong knowledge of production procedures and ability to handle non-routine situations.
• Ability to identify key issues and patterns from partial or conflicting data.

Job Summary

The Equipment Specialist plays a critical role in ResMed’s Production & Assembly function, responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and packing products to meet quality and operational standards. This position ensures smooth day-to-day production operations, supports changing demands, and maintains compliance with ResMed’s Quality, OH&S, and GMP policies as well as regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Assembly Operations

• Manufacture, assemble, and pack products according to specifications.
• Program, set up, and monitor production equipment and processes.
• Perform quality control checks on incoming materials and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.

Maintenance & Calibration

• Support tooling, plant, and equipment maintenance activities.
• Document and maintain manufacturing equipment calibration systems.

Process Improvement

• Assist in developing methods and procedures to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements.

Collaboration & Support

• Interact with internal teams to exchange information and resolve issues.
• Act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.

Qualifications & Experience

Required
