EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / YIELD TECHNICIAN
Position: Equipment Maintenance Technician
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on production machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance according to the PM schedule.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and services on all production equipment.
- Document routine preventive maintenance on checklists, record data as applicable, and maintain history in the maintenance system.
- Support product conversion and machine modification activities per process requirements.
- Record details of routine preventive maintenance and unscheduled failures in the system database.
- Provide input to the Shift Coordinator or Equipment Engineer to improve PM cycle time, tool availability, quality, and reduce scrap and ownership costs.
- Maintain 6S standards and support cleanliness in production and technical areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, cleanroom protocols, and company policies during operations.
- Support Tool Owner and Equipment Engineer with machine conversions, upgrades, and improvement projects.
Position: Yield Technician
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor KPIV/KPOV dashboards and track process variation indicators (e.g., IRIS, FAI, OSA particles, VI buyoff, PSAT, EBO, EPO, VOID).
- Support failure analysis by identifying disks for FA, coordinating sample pulls, performing FA measurements, and troubleshooting with engineering.
- Collect and analyze data manually for engineering use, ensuring quick turnaround.
- Assist engineering in evaluation activities, including dummy evaluations and particle collection.
- Review disk mapping results within designated timelines to meet quality and process control standards.
- Conduct buyoff evaluations during troubleshooting upon engineering triggers, performing measurements and verifying target conditions for yield qualification.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and process teams to support investigations and process improvements.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement containment actions as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or higher in Science, Engineering Technology, or related technical field.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in sputtering processes, yield, or machine maintenance is an advantage.
- Immediate start preferred.
