Job summary

Flex is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to support manufacturing in Senai, Johor. You will service mechanical and electrical equipment, troubleshoot testers and fixtures, and ensure on-line performance across production lines.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, calibrations, record-keeping, and assisting engineers with installations. Travel to other Flex sites or vendors may be required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires an associate degree in related field, military technical training or equivalent education and training.
• Typically requires 4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and identify machine malfunctions and isolate failure mechanisms.
• Repair failures cost-effectively and perform preventive maintenance at scheduled intervals.
• Calibrate and re-qualify equipment and instruments as required.
• Assist engineers with installation and removal of process equipment.
• Record times and problems in equipment logs and provide daily status updates.
• May require travel to other Flex sites or vendors' locations.
• Work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or computerized systems as needed.
