Job summary

TF-AMD Penang is seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to own process control within a defined area, driving continuous optimization of equipment to ensure product quality. The role includes handling faults, executing PM plans, and leading cost-reduction initiatives to improve efficiency.

You will collaborate on equipment acceptance, manage spare parts, and oversee tools and samples. The incumbent will author operation manuals, train new staff, and actively participate in TPM activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial equipment maintenance experience.
• Experience in sputter and/or plating is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for process control within the designated area, continually optimizing existing equipment to ensure product quality.
• Handle equipment faults and execute PM plans to maintain a smooth production workflow.
• Implement and verify cost reduction initiatives within the area of responsibility.
• Collaborate in the acceptance of newly purchased equipment within your area of responsibility.
• Manage equipment spare parts, including inventory, procurement, and technical verification.
• Oversee the management of tools, kits, standard samples, and similar resources within the designated area.
• Develop various equipment operation manuals and guidelines for tasks specific to your area of responsibility.
• Lead the training of new employees within designated area.
• Actively participate in TPM team activities.
