To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Equipment Engineer located in Senai, Johor.

What a typical day looks like:

• Identify machine malfunctions through troubleshooting and isolate the failure mechanism.
• Repair failures in the most cost-effective manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance at scheduled intervals.
• Calibrate and re-qualify equipment periodically.
• Assist process technicians and engineers with installation and removal of process equipment.
• Research and implement corrective actions and process tracking mechanisms.
• Record equipment issues and activities in logs.
• Provide daily updates on equipment functioning.
• Set up laboratory equipment for testing, evaluation, and calibration.
• Disassemble instruments, inspect components, and repair as needed.
• Align, replace, and balance components and circuitry.
• Develop formulas to solve measurement and calibration problems.
• Assist in creating testing, calibration, and repair procedures to maintain instrument accuracy.
• Travel may be required to other Flex sites or vendor locations.
• Perform both software and hardware maintenance as needed.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Skill in conformal coating.
