Job description

Company Background:

The company is a prominent provider of sensory experience solutions with expertise in various core technologies including semiconductor. The company is located in Senai, Johor. Notably, they are the sole micro-component manufacturing company from China ranked in the top 10 company in China.

Job Description:

  • Preparing detailed technical specification for all the equipment in use, identifying, developing, and implementing the supporting complementary program for equipment designing and maintenance, and developing the tools and equipment required for actual equipment designing.
  • Understanding other aspects of equipment engineering processes like maintaining compliance with regulatory authorities regarding their technical specific guidelines, warranty contract with distributors, and other manufacturing procedures with respect to budget and pricing.
  • Testing and designing the production of equipment, modifying and repairing the technical flaws involved in equipment design / developmental procedure, and carrying out extensive repairing of existing equipment
  • Develop improvements to enhance equipment reliability and scalability.
  • Develop preventive maintenance procedures to reduce equipment failures.
  • Analyze equipment malfunctions and failures and accordingly develop corrective actions.
  • Test and approve old/new equipment before handing off to production.
  • The ability to effectively maintain equipment is critical and able to identify and fix problems, as well as perform routine maintenance.
  • Troubleshoots day-to-day process problems, to improve the quality pass rate and reduce stop time
  • Monitor and maintain production tool stability, yield, and take corrective actions when necessary

Job Requirement:

  • At least a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and debugging, proficient in CAD and other design software.
  • Ability to work well independently and work as a part of a team.
  • Verbal and written communication and personal interface skills required.

Working hours: 8.30am-5.30pm (5 days works)

Salary Range: MYR 4,000 - 7,000
