Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Negeri Sembilan is seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer to lead backend technology scouting and improve operational efficiency. You will drive continuous improvement projects and lead cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years in the semiconductor industry and hold a degree in Electrical & Electronics. This position offers a competitive salary of RM10,000 - RM12,999.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for backend equipment technology scouting and set the future equipment technology roadmap.
• Lead backend site cross-functional teams for new equipment roll out.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance quality and cost.
• Work closely with process and sustaining teams to meet key performance indices.
• Train and coach line maintenance and PM teams on troubleshooting and maintenance skills.

• Responsible for backend equipment technology scouting and set the future equipment technology roadmap for the company.
• Lead backend site cross-functional teams to define and drive decisions to support new equipment roll out.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to improve quality and cost.
• Work closely with process and sustaining teams to ensure key performance indices are met.
• Subject matter expert to train and coach line maintenance and PM teams on troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Required Skill Sets: Drafting Tool — Autocad
• EDA Tool — Cadence Allegro (16.6, 17.2, 17.4) or CAD Capture, Concept HDL & Altium Designer
• DFM Tool — View Mate

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Minimum Degree in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
