Preparing detailed technical specifications for all equipment in use, identifying, developing, and implementing supporting programs for equipment design and maintenance, and developing the tools and equipment required for equipment design.

Understanding other aspects of equipment engineering such as maintaining compliance with regulatory authorities regarding technical specifications, warranty contracts with distributors, and other manufacturing procedures, considering budget and pricing.

Testing and designing equipment production, modifying and repairing technical flaws in equipment design/development, and extensively repairing existing equipment.

Developing improvements to enhance equipment reliability and scalability.

Creating preventive maintenance procedures to reduce equipment failures.

Analyzing equipment malfunctions and failures to develop corrective actions.

Testing and approving old and new equipment before handing over to production.

Maintaining equipment effectively, identifying and fixing problems, and performing routine maintenance is critical.

Troubleshooting daily process problems to improve quality pass rate and reduce downtime.

Monitoring and maintaining production tool stability and yield, and taking corrective actions when necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and debugging, proficiency in CAD and other design software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and good personal interface skills.
