Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Equipment Engineer to support our electronic acoustics manufacturing operations. This role is critical in maintaining and improving production equipment and fixtures used in the assembly and testing of acoustic components such as speakers, microphones, and modules. The Equipment Engineer will ensure high equipment availability, drive automation enhancements, and support quality and yield improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve equipment and fixtures used in acoustic component manufacturing.
  • Perform equipment debugging, calibration, and issue resolution.
  • Support installation and validation of new machines and automation tools.
  • Develop and carry out preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime.
  • Analyze equipment data and perform root cause analysis for failures.
  • Work with process, test, and quality teams to solve production problems.
  • Manage equipment inventory, consumables, and warehouse organization (5S).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance or engineering in a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronic acoustics or precision electronics.
  • Hands-on experience with acoustic test systems, precision assembly equipment, or automation tools.
  • Strong data analysis skills to drive preventive maintenance and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and failure analysis techniques.
