Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Epitaxy Process Engineering Sr Technician/Associate Engineer to oversee MOCVD epitaxy growth processes. You will ensure operability, meet KPIs, and act as reactor owner when needed.

You will adjust and fine-tune epitaxy reactors, coordinate with production and analytic teams, and support troubleshooting and process improvements to boost wafer quality and throughput. The role requires a Diploma in Engineering and hands-on experience in semiconductor processing, with

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering required.
Experience in semiconductor wafer/frontend processing.
Background in process manufacturing; experience as process technician.
Experience in vacuum processes like CVD, plasma, epitaxy; III-V characterization is a plus.
Willingness to learn and explore new knowledge.
Ability to work in shifts.
Good English and Bahasa Malaysia communication.

Responsibilities

Process adjustment and fine tuning of epitaxy reactor using RMS/R2R system.
Wafer disposition and equipment/process buyoff following the OCAP.
Liaise with production and analytic teams to meet process KPIs.
Work with equipment/production to ensure uptime and wafer quality.
Act as the 1st interface with equipment/analytic/operation team during absence of process engineer.
Cross-functional teamwork to uphold process KPI.
Support epitaxy pre-buffer process wafer disposition per OCAP.
Support engineering troubleshooting or projects by process engineer and co-work to support ideas from production view to achieve quality, cost or speed.
