Epitaxy Equipment Senior Staff Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Full responsibility for equipment performance uptime. Define maintenance procedures and perform equipment maintenance to maintain and sustain the machine's basic condition.
2. Set up SAP PM, create maintenance work instructions (TWI) for the responsible area, and achieve equipment key KPIs. Support process engineering and operations teams to ensure process stability, output, process CpK, and yield.
3. Sustain equipment performance by daily monitoring all machine parameters, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and applying in situ measurement systems.
4. Coordinate transfer and start-up of new equipment, including setup procedures, hook-up, buy-off, and qualification in collaboration with process engineers, ensuring compliance with EHS policies.
5. Perform continuous improvement initiatives to identify equipment development potential, support development activities, and participate in global technical discussions with RBG, Germany.
6. Potentially lead a team of technicians in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, carry out PM activities, and conduct lifespan studies to establish PM standards and specifications.
7. Collaborate with process engineers to address chronic equipment failures using troubleshooting and continuous improvement methodologies.
8. Ensure compliance with quality system requirements as outlined in FMEA and control plans. Maintain accurate records of equipment logs, failures, and investigations.
