Job Description

• Responsible for safety, health and environment systems, procedures and provide policies on occupational safety & health for the company.
• To liaise with local authorities and government agencies on statutory/legislature compliance matters concerning to environment, safety and health such DOSH, DOE etc.
• To effectively communicate policies and procedures to all level of employees to enhance their awareness towards DOSH.
• Ensure that all employees comply with the environmental, safety and health regulations of the company.
• Perform routine site inspections and conduct safety meetings.
• To ensure adequate and timely procurement and maintenance of personal protective equipment’s
• Identify, investigate, and report on root causes for incidents & accidents.
• Conduct risk assessment and facilitate training for workers with respect towards all safetyand environmental issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/advance certificate in Safety & Health or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years working experience in relevant manufacturing industry.
• Familiar and knowledge of safety regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of waste management (with scheduled waste and wastewater competency will be added advantages).
• Ability multi-task & work independently under minimum supervision.
• Green book certified is must.

Responsibilities
