Qualifications

• CESSWI / CISEC CEPEIAEO and other environmental management certificates preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in environmental management and implementation in Construction.
• Familiarity with EQA, Local Authority and other environmental laws and construction processes.
• Strong understanding of construction process, regulations and best practices.
• Ability to lead and manage diverse project teams effectively.
• Good written and verbal communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the organization’s Anti‑Bribery and Anti‑Corruption (ABAC) policy.
• Coordinate all environmental activities with EQA Regulation, Local Authority and project requirements.
• Liaise with relevant authorities regarding environmental matters.
• Supervise the activities of the Environmental programme and coordinate with Safety and Health Supervisors.
• Advising management on all matters pertaining to environmental issues.
• Ensure adherence to local, state and federal environmental laws.
• Conduct regular checks to identify risks, ensure compliance and recommend improvements.
• Liaise with clients, sub‑contractors, government bodies and local authorities on all environmental matters.
• Maintain records of permits, audits and training.
