Sebuah syarikat sedang mencari HSE Specialist untuk menguruskan program keselamatan, kesihatan, dan alam sekitar. Tanggungjawab termasuk menjalankan pemeriksaan, menyiasat insiden, dan mematuhi peraturan. Calon perlu mempunyai minimum Diploma dalam Keselamatan & Kesihatan Pekerjaan dan sekurang-kurangnya 3 tahun pengalaman dalam bidang berkaitan.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Certificate dalam Keselamatan & Kesihatan Pekerjaan.
• Pengalaman minimum 3 tahun sebagai pengamal HSE; sijil OSHC adalah kelebihan.
• Kebolehan komunikasi lisan/penulisan yang baik (Bahasa Inggeris & Bahasa Malaysia).

Responsibilities

• Melaksanakan pemeriksaan tempat kerja untuk mengenal pasti bahaya.
• Menyiasat kemalangan, insiden, dan penyakit pekerjaan.
• Menganalisis dan menjejak statistik keselamatan.

Job description

Position Overview:

The HSE Specialist will administer workplace health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with regulations (OSHA, local laws). Responsibilities include inspections, incident investigations, data management, emergency preparedness, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct workplace inspections to identify hazards (machinery, equipment, processes).
• Investigate accidents, near-misses, and occupational illnesses; maintain records/reports.
• Support Safety & Health Committee programs and act as committee administrator.
• Analyze and track safety statistics (accidents, incidents, trends).
• Organize annual emergency drills and contractor safety inductions.
• Liaise with authorities on HSE compliance and environmental matters.
• Manage PPE inventory and safety equipment maintenance.
• Maintain documentation/filing systems for audits and reporting.
• Assist in ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001 implementation (preferred).
• Address pandemic emergencies (e.g., COVID-19 protocols).

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum Diploma/Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health.
• Experience: minimum 3 years as HSE practitioner; OSHC certification is a plus.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Skills: Strong knowledge of HSE laws and emergency management.
• Excellent verbal/written communication (English & Bahasa Malaysia).
• Attributes: Independent, detail-oriented, team player, and discreet with confidential data.
• Logistics: Willing to travel and support after-hours emergencies.
• Experience with ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001.
