Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards. Monitor changes in legislation and adjust company policies accordingly.
- Program Development: Design and implement EHS programs and policies that promote safety and environmental stewardship.
- Training and Education: Develop and conduct training sessions for employees on EHS practices, emergency response procedures, and workplace safety.
- Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of workplace incidents and accidents, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation as required. Track EHS performance metrics and prepare management reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to promote a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.
