An established industry player is seeking an EHS Supervisor to enhance workplace safety and compliance. This role involves developing EHS work plans, conducting safety training, and ensuring adherence to legal standards. Develop and integrate the annual EHS work plan, covering training, activities, and legal compliance.
Monitor workplace safety, conduct safety talks, and address behavioral risks.
Establish procedures for reporting and investigating violations, escalating cases to EHS management.
Ensure proper maintenance of safety equipment and respond to incidents or abnormal events.
Investigate misconduct allegations, including on-site visits to hubs or service points as needed.
React promptly to emergencies, such as workplace conflicts or safety threats.
Follow leads on misconduct, conduct investigations, and report findings.
Coordinate and manage EHS training sessions, ensuring compliance with legal and job-specific requirements.
Collaborate with relevant departments to conduct occupational health, safety, and environmental training.
Review workplace environmental testing plans, analyze results, and report on factors like light, noise, and heat.
Oversee the submission of regulatory reports and liaise with government agencies on compliance matters.
Investigate and analyze workplace accidents, implementing corrective measures.
Conduct audits, monitor adherence to safety protocols, and provide reports to management.
Job Requirements
Possesses valid Green Book credential issued by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
Bachelor’s degree in OSHA, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience as EHS personnel is preferred.
Having excellent MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to communicate in multiple languages is an advantage (Chinese, Malay, English).
Able to respond immediately to emergencies and work well under pressure.
