Job summary

Keysight Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a results‑driven Test Engineer to design and execute comprehensive test strategies for new products.

You will work across hardware and software interfaces, design test cases, automate tests, and mentor junior team members. Candidates should have a degree in electrical/electronic engineering or computer science, hands‑on experience with test automation and defect tracking, and familiarity with instruments and measurement uncertainty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with test strategy development, test case design, and test execution.
• Experience with test hardware, automation tools and frameworks, and scripting languages (Python, C++, C#, LabVIEW).
• Experience with defect tracking tools and hardware measurement uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Test Strategy and Planning: develop and implement test strategies for new products or features.
• Test Case Design and Execution: design, develop, and execute test cases across functional and performance areas.
• Test Automation: design and implement automated test scripts to improve efficiency.
• Defect Management: identify, document, track, and prioritize defects with development teams.
• Test Reporting and Analysis: prepare reports and provide recommendations for product improvement.
• Continuous Improvement: identify process improvements and stay updated with industry best practices.
• Mentoring and Collaboration: mentor assistant test engineers and resolve tester issues.
