Job summary

ISCISTECH Business Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot medical devices in Kuala Lumpur. Responsibilities include calibration, safety inspections, and post-installation support for healthcare professionals and end users.

The role requires a Biomedical Engineering or Electronic Engineering degree, a valid B2 driver’s license, and willingness to travel by motorbike when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Possesses driving license class B2 and able to travel by motorbike when required.
• Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with healthcare safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission biomedical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and safety inspections.
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals and end users.
• Support equipment procurement, installation planning, and acceptance testing.
• Monitor service requests and ensure timely assignment and completion by Biomedical Engineers.
• Ensure equipment complies with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Conduct equipment performance testing and recommend upgrades or replacements.
• Provide product technical support in Operating Theatre cases.
• Leak test, clean scope, troubleshooting and repairing the medical equipment (bronchoscope, ENT endoscope, cytoscope, scivita single use endoscope).
• Fresh graduate encouraged to apply.
