Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Malaysia seeks an experienced IT Operations/SIEM Engineer to administer Splunk, SolarWinds DPM, Imperva DAM and security tooling. You will manage dashboards, alerting, and compliance reporting across cloud and on‑prem environments.

The role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience, strong automation skills with Ansible and Terraform, and proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins). Based in Cyberjaya with enterprise‑grade responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of working experience in IT operations or security monitoring.
• Strong hands-on with SIEM, log management and alerting.
• Experience administering cloud/on-premise log aggregation and dashboards.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling.
• Ability to configure and maintain operational dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities

• Administer Splunk — onboarding, index management, SPL, alert rules and dashboards.
• Manage SolarWinds DPM — node onboarding, thresholds, performance dashboards.
• Maintain Imperva DAM — database source registration, audit policy management.
• Administer Trend Micro Deep Security — platform management and policy configuration.
• Manage Cisco Thousand Eyes — synthetic tests and network path monitoring.
• Operate BigFix — patch baseline configuration and compliance reporting.
• Support IaC & CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, Terraform, GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Configure and maintain ITSM/CMDB integrations and SLA reporting.
• Oversee log aggregation across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Tune alerts and reduce noise to improve signal quality and incident response.
• Publish and maintain operational dashboards and service reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Splunk — data source onboarding, index management, SPL alert rules and dashboard management
• Manage SolarWinds DPM — node onboarding, threshold configuration and performance dashboards
• Manage Imperva DAM — database source registration, audit policy management and compliance reporting
• Administer Trend Micro Deep Security — platform management, policy configuration and agent fleet health
• Manage Cisco Thousand Eyes — synthetic test configuration, network path monitoring and reporting
• Administer BigFix — patch baseline configuration, approval policies and compliance reporting
• Manage configuration management and infrastructure as code using Ansible and Terraform
• Maintain and operate CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and Jenkins
• Administer ITSM platform — CMDB schema, SLA configuration, workflow management and integrations
• Configure and maintain log aggregation across cloud and on-premises environments
• Tune alert correlation rules and thresholds to reduce noise and improve signal quality
• Publish and maintain operational dashboards and produce service review reports
• Identify and implement automation and integration opportunities across the tools platform

• Synthetic and network monitoring — Cisco Thousand Eyes; test configuration and performance reporting
• Patch management — BigFix; platform administration, patch baseline management and compliance reporting
• Configuration management — Ansible; platform automation, REST API integration and playbook management
• Infrastructure as code — Terraform; resource provisioning and configuration lifecycle
• CI/CD platforms — GitHub Actions and Jenkins; pipeline configuration and maintenance
• ITSM platforms — BMC Helix or equivalent; incident, change, problem and CMDB management
• Log aggregation — multi-source log collection, normalisation, forwarding and retention management
• Alert correlation and tuning — threshold optimisation, noise reduction and meaningful alert design
• SLA reporting and operational dashboards — report generation and service review support
• 5 to 10 years of working experience
