Job summary

NTT DATA Payment Services is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead architectural governance across fintech platforms. You will drive cloud-native design, mentor teams, and ensure secure, scalable solutions while aligning with enterprise principles.

Responsibilities include establishing reference architectures, guiding distributed systems and microservices, and collaborating with CISO and audit teams to maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in software engineering and at least 3 years in architecture or a technical leadership role.
• Experience in payment gateways or financial platforms, fintech exposure preferred.
• Experience modernising legacy platforms into cloud-native architectures and guiding engineering teams.
• Strong background with microservices, DDD, clean onion architectures, CQRS/SAGA/Outbox, distributed systems, REST APIs and BFF patterns.
• Hands-on AWS (EKS/ECR/S3/RDS/Secrets Manager), Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, GitOps with ArgoCD, and Kustomize.
• Knowledge of secure cloud-native architecture, secrets management, static/container security scanning, authentication/authorization, event-driven integration (RabbitMQ).

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce architectural standards across teams for API consistency, resilience and observability.
• Guide engineering teams toward scalable, secure solutions and mentor architects and leads.
• Reduce technical debt by identifying gaps and strengthening service boundaries and domain ownership.
• Partner with platform, security, compliance and product teams to ensure long‑term platform sustainability.
• Review and approve solution designs with governance and reusable templates.
• Represent engineering in governance bodies and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
