About the Role:

The Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for driving Confluent’s sales efforts to expand our customer base in Malaysia. This includes developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have experience selling complex Database, Messaging, Big Data, Open Source, and/or SaaS solutions into large corporate and multinational organizations.

What You Will Do:
  • Build awareness for Kafka and Confluent
  • Prospect actively, identify, qualify, and develop a sales pipeline in Malaysia to contribute to revenue growth
  • Close deals to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual booking targets
  • Develop strong relationships within the Enterprise sector to foster growth opportunities
  • Strengthen relationships with new and existing Confluent Partners
  • Create and implement go-to-market plans based on organic and viral growth strategies
What You Will Bring:
  • 15+ years of enterprise sales experience in the technology sector
  • Extensive experience selling Database, Open Source, Messaging, or Big Data solutions to Malaysian enterprises
  • Ability to articulate and demonstrate the business value of big data and its impact on organizations of all sizes
  • Experience selling to software developers and technology leaders, including C-suite executives
  • Experience working in high-growth organizations in a sales capacity
