English Writer & Editor (Islamic Content)

Develop English educational content with an Islamic perspective for primary school levels, including textbooks, activity books, lesson plans, worksheets, audio content, and online/offline courses under the guidance of the editorial team.

Write, edit, and enhance educational content to make it engaging, informative, and suitable for the target audience.

Research the Cambridge and Malaysian National Curriculum syllabi to understand content and learning objectives.

Align all educational content with the specific requirements and objectives of the Cambridge and Malaysian National Curriculum.

Ensure all content is original and does not violate copyright or plagiarism rules.

Research specific learning content and teaching strategies where needed.

Liaise with the Panel of Expert Reviewers to ensure timely review of educational content and act on their feedback to improve and refine the content.

Liaise with graphic designers and illustrators to oversee layout and design works.

Liaise with authors and the chief editor for final review and checks.

Organise audio recordings of educational content.

Manage and meet project deadlines for manuscript submissions and other editorial tasks.

Copy Editing and Proofreading

Review and edit content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and consistency.

Ensure content is error-free and adheres to curriculum style and formatting guidelines.

Other Responsibilities

Conduct engaging online classes focused on teaching English with an Islamic perspective, using Holistic English books.

Create and share informative, creative, and promotional videos on TikTok and other social media platforms to raise awareness and drive interest in Holistic English books and online classes.

Conduct training programs and promotional pitches related to product offerings.

Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the company.
