Job summary

Reconext is seeking an Engineering Technician in Malaysia to assist engineers in installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, or tools. You will perform routine inspections, calibration, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or process issues, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, or tools.
• Perform routine inspections, calibration, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or process-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, test results, and equipment status.
• Support production or operational processes by understanding workflow, process parameters, and critical control points.
• Assist in process setup, changeovers, and trials to ensure smooth production runs.
• Monitor process performance and identify deviations or inefficiencies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by highlighting recurring issues and suggesting practical improvements.
• Ensure processes follow SOPs, quality requirements, and safety guidelines.
