Engineering Technician

• Ensure premises, equipment and machinery are well maintained, repaired or serviced in a timely manner.
• Carry out maintenance jobs as specified in Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
• Ensure all jobs carried out are properly logged into Work Order.
• Provide technical assistance to any department when required.
• Ensure DI Water and IETS System operate efficiently in conformance to requirements.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitization are carried out in a timely manner or when necessary.
• Attend to any ad-hoc issue like machine setting, breakdown, urgent repair or physical touch-ups.
• Required if necessary, to undertake any examinations/courses/certifications in order to take care of the factory facilities such as IETS, Dust Extractor, etc.
• Assist and carry out any other related function assigned by Engineering Manager.

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in maintenance work.
• Able to work overtime and with minimum supervision.
• Able to troubleshoot and identify machine problems.
• Have good concept and understanding of machine safety principles.
• Capable of understanding and following instructions in machine manuals.

( IETS = Industrial Effluent Treatment System )
