Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kulai, Malaysia is seeking an Engineering Support Technician. Responsibilities include performing wiring/setup of machines and assisting operating teams with troubleshooting. Candidates should have a certificate in Electrical & Electronic or related fields, good hand tool skills, and must be willing to work under pressure, including nights and weekends. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read CAD drawings.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing methods, tooling, fixturing and materials.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring/configuration/setup of machines.
• Assist in troubleshooting and problem analysis.
• Conduct machine verification tests.
• Prepare and submit reports to superior.
• Maintain 5S in workspace and site.

Job Responsibility

• Engineering Tasks
• Perform wiring / configuration / setup machines.
• Assists in the day-to-day support to all operating teams having issues with troubleshooting, problem analysis, equipment failures, etc.
• Conduct machine verifications tests.
• Production standby support.
• Prepare and submit reports to superior.
• Maintain 5S at workspace, office and site.

Job Requirements

• SPM / Certificate in Electrical & Electronic / Mechanical / Automation related field.
• Read electrical wiring diagram, CAD Drawing
• Good with hand tools
• Working knowledge of manufacturing methods, tooling, fixturing and materials and various test equipment
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines
• Willing to work night shift support when required.
• Willing to work on weekends when required.
• Ability to work in a team as well as an individual
• Attention to details
