Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead water and wastewater treatment projects from basic design to handover. You will oversee multidisciplinary engineering activities, manage vendor coordination, support project execution with the PM team, and ensure timely, quality delivery within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering efforts from tender stage to project handover, covering basic and detailed engineering.
• Oversee engineering design accuracy, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Manage and develop the engineering team, ensuring capability, training, and performance.
• Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and internal departments to align project goals and schedules.
• Guide R&D and innovation initiatives for new design and process improvement.
• Monitor budgets, resources, and ensure compliance with project timelines and technical requirements.
• Ensure clear communication across teams and with stakeholders; report updates, risks, and challenges.
• Manage external engineering consultants and support recruitment of top engineering talent.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in water/wastewater treatment; exposure to onshore/offshore oil & gas is a plus.
• Proven experience managing full project lifecycle and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong in technical review, planning, budgeting, and team leadership.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
